Microsoft의 ZAK(Zero Administration Kit: 무관리 킷)은 Con2Prt 을 포함한다. 이 것은 사용자가 Windows NT 프린터와의 모든 접속을 끊고, 지정된 Windows NT 프린터로 새로 접속할 수 있게 해준다. Con2prt을 사용하기위해 ZAK을 구현할 필요는 없다.

로그온 스크립트에서 Con2prt을 사용하기위해

copy Con2prt.exe %SystemRoot%\Con2prt.exe

을 수행한다. Con2Prt /h을 실행하면 다음과 같은 메시지를 리턴한다.

CON2PRT: Lets the user disconnect all existing connections to Windows NT printers 
and connect to newly specified Windows NT printers.<br>

Usage: CON2PRT [ /? | /h | /f | [/c \printserver\share | /cd \printserver\share]+]
       where:<br>

       /?  - displays usage.
       /h  - displays usage.
       /f  - deletes all existing printer connections.
       /c  - connects to \printserver\share printer.
       /cd - connects to \printserver\share printer and sets it 
	     as the default printer.<br>

       NOTE: /?, /h can only be the first parameter and if specified further
             interpretation of the command line is stopped.  /f can also only
             be the first parameter, however it doesn't stop further
             interpretation of the command line.  Any number of /c and /cd
             parameters can be specified however only the first /cd sets the
             printer specified as the default.<br>

Hint: Use --Net View \printserver-- to determine available print shares.
